Lawn and garden care in Caboolture.

Jackfruit Home and Garden looks after lawns, gardens and outdoor spaces across Caboolture, Caboolture South and Upper Caboolture – three genuinely different parts of the district, even though the name gets used loosely to cover all three.

Mowing, hedging, garden bed design, turf and yard tidy-ups, handled by a team that knows the difference between them.

Local knowledge

Why local knowledge actually matters here

Caboolture 'where lifestyle really counts' entry sign

"Caboolture" isn't really one place, and treating it like one is how a lawn or garden plan ends up not quite fitting. The town centre, Caboolture South and Upper Caboolture sit within a few kilometres of each other but behave quite differently on the ground.

Caboolture proper and Caboolture South both sit close to the Caboolture River, and the river catchment carries a real state planning consideration around acid sulfate soils – relevant if you're ever digging a new garden bed, putting in retaining wall footings or doing drainage work near the river flats, since disturbing that soil layer and exposing it to air can cause real problems. It's not something every property runs into, but it's worth checking if you're near the water before any digging starts.

Upper Caboolture, sitting higher and further from the river on semi-rural, acreage-style blocks, doesn't carry that same river-flat risk – but the larger block sizes out there mean watering, mowing time and garden layout all need to be planned differently from a standard suburban yard.

Caboolture South has its own quirk worth knowing too: the rail line splits the suburb in half, with established residential streets on one side and industrial and agricultural land on the other. The two sides can feel quite different, even within the one suburb, so it's worth knowing which side of the line your own property sits on when thinking about what's typical for the area.

Around the suburb

Caboolture, Caboolture South and Upper Caboolture, as we actually know them

The town centre of Caboolture has community infrastructure at its heart – the Caboolture Town Square houses the library, art gallery and community hall, and Centenary Lakes Park nearby is where a lot of locals end up on a weekend, with its lakeside walking loop, BBQs and resident birdlife right on the Caboolture River. A bit further out on Beerburrum Road, Caboolture Historical Village is a genuine local institution – a working heritage village with dozens of restored buildings, a model railway and steam train rides on weekends. Gather and Feast, right in Caboolture, is a favourite of ours too – run by the same local operator behind Ruby Tuesday out at Burpengary East, so it's no surprise both have that same easy, welcoming feel.

Down in Caboolture South, Lightwood Parklands in the Riverbank Estate is a newer, well-liked family spot, with its ocean-themed play tower a local drawcard for anyone with young kids. Out in Upper Caboolture, the character is properly semi-rural – acreage and mini-acreage blocks, some held for decades, some newer builds filling in the gaps, and Bunya Adventure Playground is a well-known local stop for families out that way.
