Why we started
Our mission and purpose
Jackfruit began with a simple frustration: too many people were let down by no-shows, vague pricing and rushed work. We wanted to build the opposite – a team that turns up when it says it will, explains what it's doing and why, and treats every yard like it matters.
Our purpose is to give people back their weekends and their pride in the place they live. Tidy edges and healthy lawns are the visible part; the real work is being reliable, safe and genuinely good to deal with.
We're a local business in the Moreton Bay region, and we care about leaving the outdoor spaces here better than we found them – for the households we serve and the community we're part of.

The people behind Jackfruit
Cat White
With a background in business, psychology and marketing, Cat is the founder of Jackfruit, and your first point of contact. As our current "office manager" she liaises with clients, prepares quotes and manages the operations team.

Phil White
Phil brings a background in project management from the mining industry, with a systems- and process-driven approach. He oversees safety, training and compliance – you won't see Phil unless something's gone wrong, or it's time for Friday beers.

Luke Hilditch
With 12+ years' experience in horticulture and grounds maintenance, Luke is a qualified tree-climbing arborist who has always worked outdoors – starting out as a bushcraft instructor and scout leader. He leads our field operations, quality control and service delivery.
